Thaal for Mayian

Thaal is used during the Mayian ceremony to carry the Haldi Bowl, Fatri, Peeri, Grass Stands and Gannay everything that is required for the ceremony is bought out by the Bride/Groom to be.

Haldi Bowl for Mayian

Traditionally the maiyan is conducted three times, normally 2 days before when it’s customary to start before midday, the second day can be in the evening and the third on the wedding day where it is normally to put on a finger or behind the ear. Haldi is a mixture of Turmeric powder, flour and mustard oil all kneaded into a moist dough-like consistency.

Bibi Costume

Looking to add a bit of fun to your Jaggo ceremony? Our Bibi (grandma) fancy dress costume does just that, and goes perfectly with our Baba costume! Comes with a wig, red glasses, a red bag, a red ribbon, a dupatta and a floral suit.

Baba Costume

Jaipur Lenghas

Traditional Jaipuri style lenghas are available in various colours and designs. Outfits like these lenghas are typically worn during the Jaggo ceremony and go perfectly with our phulkari dupatta or our Bibi and Baba costumes!

Satin Lenghas

Traditional Punjabi fancy-dress lenghas are available in various colours. Outfits like these lenghas are typically worn during the Jaggo ceremony and go perfectly with our phulkari dupatta or our Bibi and Baba costumes!

Phulkari Dupatta

With origins spanning back to the 16th century, the phulkari dupatta, recognisable for its floral embroidery and vibrant colours, is traditionally worn at celebratory occasions such as weddings

Chaj

Made from Bamboo sticks and decorated in red velvet with embellishments, our chaj comes with a beautifully decorated stick to beat with.
Traditionally, one person walks in from of the Jaggo carriers beating the Chaj and announcing the arrival of Jaggo. Breaking a Chaj is considered to bring good luck.

Dholki Hire

Ladies Sangeet ceremony is full of music, dance, humour and masti this event is celebrated at the Bride’s as well as the Grooms house, the whole event is definitely not complete without Dholki.
